The Tynor Hand Resting Splint is designed to reduce pain and swelling by providing comfortable support and immobilization in the natural position to the joints of the
hand and the wrist. It reduces irritation of nerves in the carpal tunnel by supporting
and resting the wrist in the "loose pack" position. It maintains the length of soft tissues
thus preventing contractures.

◄Construction

• The shell of the hand resting splint is made from strong molded thermoplastic and lined with Ethafaom for optimum cushioning and comfort.

• The finger separators help to keep the fingers relaxed and separated to avoid the fusion of digits in burn patients. Hook loop strapping provides snug-fitting, easy application, and removal of the splint. The splint can be removed to permit, therapy sessions, washing, and hygiene.

• Maintain the wrist in the dorsiflexion and place the hand matching the contours on the Hand resting Splint.
• Place the hand and fingers in a comfortable position.
• Strap the splint to the hand using hook loop closures.
