It also supports the treatment of Achilles tendon injuries. It stabilizes the damaged joint and protects it from uncontrolled rotation and inappropriate movement. It does not overburden the injured leg, because it is much lighter than a plaster dressing. It can also be used prophylactically by people with ankle instability. Support for weakened ligaments prevents damage while walking, running, playing sports, or performing physical work. The stabilizer with splints can also be used by people suffering from degenerative changes in the ankle, as well as undergoing rehabilitation after surgery. - Pick the right size of the product, using the biométrie chart provided on the box. Slide your foot, to wear the product, so that the heal fits snugly into the heal opening.
- Adjust the position of lateral splints and tighten the laces from the bottom upward to an optimal tightness.
- Tie the straps from the médial to the latéral side, in a "figure of eight", to a secure fitting.
- Apply the strap under the opposite arm and close it in the front.
